I’m your hostess Mother Nature. 

Come and dance on my landscape which is constantly being disturbed by flood, farming, fire, drought and mining. These natural events and human impacts create changing conditions on the dancefloor.

Entry is strict!

Dresscode applies (your survival depends on it!). 

Disturb-o-teque is a high energy interactive experience introducing concepts of ecological disturbance and succession to audiences in a participatory and playful way. It is the perfect dance floor for a field-day, festival, community event or conference.

Disturb-o-teque was first presented at Cementa Festival 2024 by Imogen Semmler, as part of the Kandos School of Cultural Adaptation’s project ‘Disturbed’.

I’m Donné (pronounced Don-nay), founder of Nobody’s Business. I’ve been building websites since before WYSIWYG editors existed—originally out of necessity as a broke musician. What began as DIY survival in 2008 evolved into a business after I paused touring to raise my son.
