Agricola Projects is led by Imogen Semmler. 

Imogen is an agroecologist, science educator and creative innovator who is passionate about healthy soils and landscapes in our farming systems, and improving biodiversity for both farm production and environmental outcomes.

Imogen has an Honours degree in Ecology from the University of New England, and a MA in International Communications (Leeds, UK). She is currently participating in the Australian Holistic Management Educator Training program.

Imogen has worked as an agroecologist for both Bush Heritage and Farming for the Future, and she also works independently as a consultant and educator.

Prior to becoming a scientist, Imogen spent many years working in programming, creative producing and project management for events and festivals. Combining her skills across the arts, ecology and communication has led to her special interest in creative based science education.

Agricola Projects is based just north of the ACT in Ngunnawal and Wiradjuri country.
